M. J Higgins fine art & furnishings is located within the Gallery Row District in the Historic Core of Downtown Los Angeles, our focus is primarily on local artists. We seek to show inspired work of an uplifting and positive nature. We also value recycling or found object works and are currently developing eco-friendly furnishings along with artist crafted furnishings. Our director and curator, Martha Higgins; a southern California native, studied fine art in the San Francisco Bay area from 1973-1976 and earned a B.A. in Interior Design at Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle, WA. in 1991.
